Amazing

I have been newly clinically diagnosed with endo in the last 6 months. After trips to the hospital, flare up attacks and missing weeks of work it’s safe to say I can feel terrified to leave the house on my own when I’m not feeling great. This card is AMAZING, thankfully I haven’t had to use it however having it just makes me feel that bit safer. It explaines endo in a way that everyone can understand! I’ve shown my mum and dietician this card and they both think it’s an amazing idea for me to carry it around. No one really knows the panic and anxiety that sets in when you’re in public and you feel that pang, will I end up of the floor or can I get to a seat in time? At lease with this card it’s something I can give people who are trying to assist me (or even people I am trying to explain the condition to) and they can understand it in a simple way.

Endometriosis Emergency Card

It is a great help explain the illness to people, as there is still not a lot of awareness or belief that such a disease exists. It shows people information in black and white (black & yellow), it proves we haven’t made it up. It’s an actual invisible illness/disability. Thank you The Uterus Project.
